Big Shout Outs!
I am grateful for the support, encouragement, and services these fabulous artists have given me. As an indie author, connecting with the right people is crucial to any level of success. I have been very fortunate to meet and work with these amazing people. I couldn't do it without you!
Anne Rice
Anne Rice, the bestselling author of the Vampire Chronicles and Queen of the Vampire Genre, has been my favorite writer since I was in high school. Her many novels have inspired me to create my own worlds populated with my own breed of the undead. Through her Facebook Page, she has supported and encouraged me to follow my dream of publication. Her kind words and her very public endorsement of my work has truly motivated me to reach for the stars. Anne Rice truly changed my life. I can never thank her enough.
Kirk McCurdy
Kirk McCurdy was the first fan that reached out to me after I published Growing Up Dead. He read Mortimer's first book and come back for more. I was surprised to learn that Kirk owned and operated an internet radio station. Treble Radio invited me to do a series of author interviews on his "Boss Talk" radio show with the lovely Sandra Sorensen. I continue to enjoy the support and friendship of Kirk and Sandra. Kirk just might be the original Mortimer Drake fan!
Ran Valerhon
The artwork of Ran Valerhon is quite simply amazing. I fell in love with his work on Facebook as he and I posted on Anne Rice's page. Once my books began to sell, I decided that it was time to give my book covers a facelift. That's where Ran entered my life in a big way. Ran has desinged the covers for all of my novels. His work is just invredible.
Todd Barselow
Thank God for Todd Barselow. I love to write, but editing my own work is hard. After my first three books were published, I began to receive emails and feedback from readers. They all loved the stories, but not the typos and errors. Luckily, I had already met Todd via Facebook and I knew that he was a very talented editor and proofreader. He graciously took me on as a client and with his help, Mortimer Drake has been taken to the next level. I am grateful for Todd's skillful eye and his attention to detail.
